The hairbycaitlyn APPROVED® Signature Brush Care Instructions:

Daily Care

  • Gently remove hair after each use, with fingers or wide tooth comb
  • Wipe the handle & bristles with a soft, dry cloth to remove oils, product residue, and dust.

Deep Cleaning (every 1–2 weeks)

  1. Ensure there is no hair in or at the base of the pins
  2. Mix a few drops of mild shampoo with lukewarm water
  3. Dip only bristles in, scrub gently around pins with a soft brush
  4. Rinse lightly, keeping handle and cushion dry
  5. Press cushion to release excess water, gently towel dry
  6. Lay pin-side down to air dry completely

Avoid

  • Soaking or fully submerging the brush in water
  • Using hot water or harsh detergents
  • Storing in a damp or enclosed areas (like a shower)

Caitlyn’s Pro Tip for salon use

  • In between guests- spray the brush with barbicide and let sit pins facing down for 15 minutes. Gently rinse the pins and cushion. Avoid allowing water to flow directly into the drain hole. Let air dry completely pins facing down.
